When you integrate your electronic health records with the American Academy of Ophthalmology IRIS® Registry via Verana Health Data Link, you will receive a quality measures dashboard that enables accurate MIPS reporting and helps you benchmark your practice.
The quality measures are developed by the Academy, are ophthalmology specific and CMS approved. The measures are available exclusively for MIPS reporting via the IRIS Registry.
Accurate MIPS Scores
Maximize the accuracy of your MIPS scores with a dashboard that utilizes a data quality framework and scoring algorithm.
Focus on quality improvement activities that will have the most benefit for your practice and patients.
To maximize MIPS Quality category scores, Verana Health has:
Highly accurate scoring algorithms that are maintained by quality reporting experts who have implemented a logic infrastructure in strict accordance with CMS specifications and value sets.
Guidance provided by clinicians and informatics experts for measure implementation processes to ensure results are consistent with clinical expectations.
To ensure that the integrated data are complete and reflective of providers’ activities and documentation practices, Verana Health has engaged with practices currently using Verana Health Data Link to receive feedback on data mappings.
*There will be no impact on your practice’s 2020 or 2021 MIPS reporting. Your practice should continue reporting MIPS via the current registry vendor until your new quality measures dashboard is complete and your Verana Health Practice Experience Manager has provided instructions.
